William Bethard (Magnolia, DE) was named the 2022 Accounting Award winner at Goldey-Beacom College's 2022 Honors Day ceremony. The award was presented to Bethard by Provost, Alison Boord White and Associate Provost, Dr. Joel Worden. Bethard was nominated by the College's faculty to receive the award for demonstrating the knowledge and the qualities necessary for excellence in the field of Accounting.

Goldey-Beacom College is proud to honor exceptional undergraduate students with the distinguished Part-Time Academic Distinction Award. This recognition is awarded to part-time students who demonstrate outstanding dedication to their education by achieving a semester GPA of 3.6 or higher while completing a course load of 6 to 11 credits.

Christina Jordan (Chestnut Hill Cove, MD) was named the 2022 Criminal Justice Award winner at Goldey-Beacom College's 2022 Honors Day ceremony. The award was presented to Jordan by Provost, Alison Boord White and Associate Provost, Dr. Joel Worden. Jordan was nominated by the College's faculty to receive the award for demonstrating the knowledge and qualities necessary for excellence in the field of Criminial Justice.

Amanda Garcia (New Castle, DE) was named the 2022 Excellence in Liberal Arts Award winner at Goldey-Beacom College's 2022 Honors Day ceremony. The award was presented to Garcia by Provost, Alison Boord White and Associate Provost, Dr. Joel Worden. Garcia was nominated by the College's faculty to receive the award for demonstrating outstanding achievement in the liberal arts areas of history, humanities, literature, philosophy, and sociology.

Natalia Richards (Jim Thorpe, PA) was named the 2022 Finance Award winner at Goldey-Beacom College's 2022 Honors Day ceremony. The award was presented to Richards by Provost, Alison Boord White and Associate Provost, Dr. Joel Worden. Richards was nominated by the College's faculty for demonstrating the leadership qualities necessary for excellence in a career in the field of finance.

Kaitlyn Stauffenberg (Newark, DE) was named the 2022 Human Resource Management Award winner at Goldey-Beacom College's 2022 Honors Day ceremony. The award was presented to Stauffenberg by Provost, Alison Boord White and Associate Provost, Dr. Joel Worden. Stauffenberg was nominated by the College's faculty to receive the award for demonstrating the knowledge and the qualities necessary for excellence in the field of human resource management, in and outside the classroom.

Chari Konomi (Helsingborg, Sweden) was named the 2022 Management Award winner at Goldey-Beacom College's 2022 Honors Day ceremony. The award was presented to Konomi by Provost, Alison Boord White and Associate Provost, Dr. Joel Worden. Konomi was nominated by the College's faculty to recieve the award for demonstrating leadership qualities necessary for excellence in the field of management.

Julia Christo Syrdahl (Basking RIdge, NJ) was named the 2022 Mathematics Award winner at Goldey-Beacom College's 2022 Honors Day ceremony. The award was presented to Syrdahl by Provost, Alison Boord White and Associate Provost, Dr. Joel Worden. Syrdahl was nominated by the College's faculty to receive the award for demonstrating excellence in the study of mathematics with an outstanding achievement in mathematical coursework, and intellectual curiosity regarding quantitative applications.

Lucia Castillo (Wilmington, DE) was named the 2022 Marketing Management Award winner at Goldey-Beacom College's 2022 Honors Day ceremony. The award was presented to Castillo by Provost, Alison Boord White and Associate Provost, Dr. Joel Worden. Castillo was nominated by the College's faculty to receive the award for demonstrating the leadership qualities necessary for excellence in the field of marketing.

Autumn Spendlove (Las Vegas, NV) was named the 2022 Psychology Award winner at Goldey-Beacom College's 2022 Honors Day ceremony. The award was presented to Spendlove by Provost, Alison Boord White and Associate Provost, Dr. Joel Worden. Spendlove was nominated by the College's faculty to receive the award for demonstrating the leadership qualities necessary for excellence in the field of psychology.

Sidy Toure (Bamako, Mali) was named the 2022 Poole Memorial Excellence in Writing Award winner at Goldey-Beacom College's 2022 Honors Day ceremony. The award was presented to Toure by Provost, Alison Boord White and Associate Provost, Dr. Joel Worden. The late William Poole was an attorney-at-law, a trustee of the College and former Chairman of the Board. Toure was nominated by the College's faculty to receive the award for demonstrating overall writing excellence in terms of content, creativity, style, maturity of expression, awareness of purpose and audience, organization and correctness.

Jessica White (Vineland, NJ) was named the 2022 Franta Excellence in Speaking Award winner at Goldey-Beacom College's 2022 Honors Day ceremony. The award was presented to White by Provost, Alison Boord White and Associate Provost, Dr. Joel Worden. Dr. William Franta was an honorary life trustee of the College and a retired DuPont company executive. White was nominated by the College's faculty to receive the award for demonstrating the outstanding speaking ability through articulation, enthusiasm, pose, and command of subject.

Bryan Horsey (Wilmington, DE) was named the 2022 Nelson Debater of the Year Award winner at Goldey-Beacom College's 2022 Honors Day ceremony. The award was presented to Horsey by Provost, Alison Boord White and Associate Provost, Dr. Joel Worden. The award was established in honor of retired professor Don Nelson, who began the debating program at the College. Horsey was nominated by the College's faculty to receive the award for an outstanding performance in a classroom debate.

Zahid Hossain (Newark, DE) was named the 2022 Perrone Award winner at Goldey-Beacom College's 2022 Honors Day ceremony. The award was presented to Hossain by Provost, Alison Boord White and Associate Provost, Dr. Joel Worden. Robert J. Perrone is a distinguished alumnus of the College. The Perrone Award has been endowed by Ray and Mildred Thompson to honor Mr. Perrone. Hossain was nominated by the College's faculty to receive the award for demonstrating an interest in a career in public accounting, showing leadership qualities, and actively participating in community service.

Five students were named recipients of the 2022 Excellence in Graduate Studies awards at Goldey-Beacom College's Honors Day Ceremony. The awards were presented by Provost, Alison Boord White and Associate Provost, Dr. Joel Worden. The College's faculty nominated the recipients for demonstrating the true meaning of excellence both in, and outside, the classroom. Danine Romero (Hockessin, DE) was named the 2022 Excellence in Doctoral Studies Award winner at Goldey-Beacom College's 2022 Honors Day ceremony. The award was presented to Romero by Provost, Alison Boord White and Associate Provost, Dr. Joel Worden. Romero was nominated by the College's faculty to receive the award for demonstrating excellence both in, and outside, the classroom as part of the Doctor of Business Administration program.

Courtney Kenner (Bear, DE) was named the recipient of the President's Award for Achieving Greater for the Graduate Division at Goldey-Beacom College's 2022 Honors Day ceremony. Kenner was presented with the award by the President of Goldey-Beacom College, Dr. Colleen Perry Keith. The President's Award for Achieving Greater is the most prestigious award a student at the College is eligible to receive. The award is presented to a student who demonstrated the true meaning of 'Achieving Greater' during their career at the College by nature of academic achievement and contributions to the process of education in the classroom; growth, as a person and a student, during their time at the College; and enthusiastic involvement, initiative, and leadership that contributed to the betterment of the College community.

Toure was presented with the award by the President of Goldey-Beacom College, Dr. Colleen Perry Keith. The President's Award for Achieving Greater is the most prestigious award a student at the College is eligible to receive. The award is presented to a student who demonstrated the true meaning of 'Achieving Greater' during their career at the College by nature of academic achievement and contributions to the process of education in the classroom; growth, as a person and a student, during their time at the College; and enthusiastic involvement, initiative, and leadership that contributed to the betterment of the College community.

Goldey-Beacom College honored the 2022 Women's Soccer Team with the award for the Highest Cumulative GPA at its annual Student-Athlete Awards Ceremony. The award was presented to Head Coach Dan Frick and the Women's Soccer team by Director of Athletics, Jeremy Benoit, and Provost/VP for Academic Affairs, Alison White.

Over 100 members of the College Community, including student-athletes, administrators, staff, and faculty, were on hand to attend Goldey-Beacom College's 2022 Student-Athlete Awards Ceremony. Two student atheletes were awarded with the Highest Individual GPA amongst all Lightning teams at Goldey-Beacom College's 2022 Student-Athlete Awards Ceremony. Sarah Round (Northampton, England), representing the Women's Basketball team and Patrick Stolze (Obersulm, Germany), representing the Men's Soccer team earned the highest cumulative GPA of all female and male athletes in the 2021-22 academic year.
