Goldey-Beacom's Gigi Gaul Honored with 2025 IMPACT Award

Wilmington, DE (07/29/2025) — Wilmington, DE - Goldey-Beacom College (GBC) is proud to announce that Gigi Gaul, assistant director of graduate admissions, has been named one of Spur Impact's 2025 IMPACT Award recipients. Launched in 2020, the annual award recognizes rising leaders (ages 18-45) who are driving meaningful change in their careers and communities.
The award celebrates ten emerging professionals from across the region who are redefining success, reshaping industries and leading with purpose. Gaul and her fellow honorees will be recognized during the Leadership Dinner & IMPACT Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Tonic Seafood & Steak in Wilmington, Delaware.

At GBC, Gaul works closely with graduate students of all backgrounds, helping recent college graduates and seasoned professionals alike pursue lifelong learning and advanced credentials. Her commitment to the College is personal: her great-grandfather, Alvah Phillips, served as Secretary-Treasurer of GBC in the 1940s.
Beyond campus, Gaul is a passionate advocate for education, women's leadership and philanthropic engagement. She is a Young Founder and former board member of the Fund for Women at the Delaware Community Foundation. She serves on the Advisory Council of Great Dames and is also a member of the Delaware ACE Women's Network and the Chesapeake & Potomac Chapter of the National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals.
She holds both a Bachelor's degree and an MBA from Wilmington University and is a graduate of the UD Women's Leadership Initiative Certificate program and Leadership Delaware.
