Goldey-Beacom College Named One of Money's Best Colleges for Second Consecutive Year

Wilmington, DE (09/30/2026) — Goldey-Beacom College (GBC) has been recognized by Money as one of America's Best Colleges for 2026, marking the second consecutive year the College has earned the distinction and highlighting its continued commitment to providing an affordable, accessible education that prepares students for success.

Money evaluated more than 2,400 four-year public and private nonprofit colleges nationwide before selecting 735 institutions that met its requirements for consideration. Colleges were assessed on 25 factors across three primary categories: quality of education, affordability and student outcomes.

"Goldey-Beacom is honored to once again be recognized among America's Best Colleges by Money," said GBC President Dr. Colleen Perry Keith. "Earning this distinction for a second consecutive year affirms our commitment to providing students with a high-quality education that remains accessible and affordable while preparing them to achieve their academic and professional goals."

According to Money's 2026 profile of GBC, 99% of undergraduate students receive grants, reducing the estimated annual price after average financial aid to $16,540. The College's median student debt is $18,900, and students complete their degrees in an average of 4.2 years. Together, these measures reflect GBC's continued emphasis on making a college education financially attainable while helping students progress efficiently toward graduation.

Money's Best Colleges analysis places particular emphasis on affordability, which accounts for 40% of its methodology, along with quality of education and student outcomes, each accounting for 30%. Factors include graduation rates, financial aid, student debt, earnings and economic mobility.
