Wilmington, DE (08/04/2025) — Goldey-Beacom College (GBC) proudly announces that Randle Reed, director of admissions, has been named one of Delaware Business Times' "Top 40 Under 40" for 2025. This annual list recognizes the First State's most dynamic young professionals who are making a significant impact in their communities and industries before the age of 40.

A first-generation college graduate originally from Mississippi, Reed brings more than 14 years of experience in higher education to his role at GBC. Since joining the College, he has implemented strategic, data-informed recruitment and enrollment initiatives that have dramatically increased applications and acceptances. Under his leadership, GBC has seen sustained enrollment growth over the past two years, bolstering its visibility across the region.

Reed also authored GBC's strategic recruitment plan and is pursuing his MBA through the College. His efforts have helped to position Goldey-Beacom as a destination institution for both undergraduate and graduate students.

"Randle is a change-maker," said GBC President Colleen Perry Keith. "He is forward-thinking, collaborative and committed to equity and excellence. His vision and energy have helped transform the admissions operation at GBC. We are incredibly proud to see him recognized with this well-deserved honor."

In addition to his professional achievements, Reed is a passionate advocate for educational access, LGBTQIA+ inclusion and authentic leadership. He has held leadership roles in nonprofit and civic organizations and is known for his dedication to student success, innovation and bold sense of style.

Hosted by the Delaware Business Times, the DBT40 program is in its twelfth year and celebrates honorees across nonprofit and for-profit sectors throughout the state. The Class of 2025 was selected from the largest applicant pool in four years, reflecting Delaware's growing and diverse pool of emerging leaders. The DBT40 Awards Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, September 24, 2025, at The Waterfall in Claymont.

Reed holds an Associate of Fine Arts in photography from the Delaware College of Art and Design and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography from Pratt Institute.
