Goldey-Beacom College President Dr. Colleen Perry Keith Named to Delaware State Chamber Board of Directors

Wilmington, DE (04/16/2026) — Goldey-Beacom College (GBC) President Colleen Perry Keith has been named to the Board of Directors of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, effective January 1, 2026.

The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce represents businesses and organizations across the state and works to strengthen Delaware's economy through public policy advocacy, leadership development, and collaboration among the business community.

Dr. Keith joins a group of leaders from major organizations throughout Delaware who guide the Chamber's strategic direction and initiatives. Her appointment reflects the College's longstanding commitment to supporting the region's workforce and business community.

"I am honored to join the State Chamber's Board of Directors," said Dr. Keith. "Goldey-Beacom has a long history of preparing students to contribute meaningfully to Delaware's workforce and business community. I look forward to working with fellow board members to support initiatives that strengthen our state's economy and create opportunities for future generations."

Dr. Keith brings more than four decades of experience in higher education leadership to the role. Now in her seventh year as president of Goldey-Beacom College, she has previously held leadership positions at two other institutions and has dedicated her career to advancing student success, workforce development, and partnerships between higher education and the business community.

Under Dr. Keith's leadership, the College has expanded academic programs aligned with industry needs, strengthened relationships with regional employers, and continued its mission of preparing students for careers in business, technology, and public service.
