Goldey-Beacom College to Host Second Annual Advancing Digital Learning Symposium
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wilmington, DE (10/27/2025) — Wilmington, DE - On Friday, November 7, 2025, Goldey-Beacom College (GBC) will once again serve as the hub for forward-thinking innovation as it hosts the Second Annual Advancing Digital Learning Symposium, presented by the DelMarVa Digital Learning Association.
Building on the success of last year's inaugural event, the 2025 Symposium will bring together educators, technologists and policy leaders to explore the future of digital education. The one-day gathering will spotlight the opportunities and challenges shaping online learning and emerging technology across industries.
This year's sessions will focus on four critical themes:
Public Policy Issues & Online Education - anticipating and adapting to evolving legislation, funding, and accreditation trends.
Futures Literacy & AI - strengthening leadership to imagine and prepare for multiple future scenarios in a rapidly shifting digital world.
Global Perspectives on Digital Learning - sharing cross-cultural insights and innovative approaches from around the globe.
Instructional Design & Emerging Tech - exploring the intentional integration of technology with best practices in instructional design.
"At Goldey-Beacom College, we see digital learning not as a trend, but as a powerful means of expanding access, creativity and opportunity," said Dr. Colleen Perry Keith, president of GBC. "Hosting this symposium allows us to bring together those who are shaping the future of education and to ensure that technology continues to serve learning-not the other way around."
The symposium reflects GBC's ongoing commitment to preparing students and professionals for success in an increasingly technology-driven world. As a proud partner of DelMarVa-DLA, the College continues to foster collaboration and thought leadership across the Delmarva region and beyond.
